Steam your hard boiled eggs and they will peel easily. Try it. It makes a huge difference and they taste great! Steam 6 eggs for 15 minutes and then rinse them in the pan under cold water for 5 minutes. Peel them under cold running water and the shells come right off. Like Magic!

    Extremely well made. I have had a number of these over my lifetime and none were of this quality. It is larger height-wise than I thought and I ended up having to use it in my little round enamelware roaster but it worked perfectly in it, steaming my broccoli to perfection. Just be sure to measure not only the diameter of the pot you plan to use, but the height with the feet and handle. Very happy with my purchase.

    Iwoykd love to give a 4.5 starts, but it's not possible, so I am giving 4. The product is really good, I am using it to prepare steamed vegetables to my baby daughter.
    First off, I wanna clarify it has worked well with normal usage. But one time, I left it on the stove and forgot. And of course the water was all evaporated and all that, burnt. But those legs, the little plastic or silicone leg covers that prevent scratching the pot, well it melted and got permanently stuck to the pot.
    And there was even a tiny screw that was stuck to the pot. the melted later hardened green thing stuck the screw to the pot. It would be maybe a little small if I was preparing something to the whole family, but just her meals is great. I liked thT it comes with a plastic thing to pull it when it's ready however the green plastic on the bottom can melt if you leave it for a long time in contact with the hight temperature (on the pot).

    I love everything about this steamer. I don't have much space in my little kitchen, and this collapsible basket is just what I needed. I love the folding feet which makes it even easier to store. The handle is really helpful - it collapses down so a pot lid fits, and that also helps with storage. It's easy to lift out with a fork. (My old steamer had a little ring and it was tricky to remove the steamer from a pot of steaming hot water.) Sturdy. Finally, I love the cheery green color! You do have to screw the handle in, but it was simple and quick. The seller even included a little screwdriver and extra screws! And the price makes this steamer a great value. Makes me want to eat more veggies!

    I ordered this because I like the green handle. My old steamer just had a metal ring that would get sooo hot. I only have two reasons why I gave three stars. First, I hope they improve the way you attach the green handle. It was so hard to screw in place. Screws were teeny and hard to hold it all in place but I got it attached eventually. My other concern is it says
    In the directions that incomplete cleaning may result in rust but this says it’s stainless steel and stainless steel doesn’t rust. Not sure if maybe it’s not stainless? I do like the little padded feet and can’t wait to use it.
