- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2026My son absolutely loved this! Super easy for him to catch on to what he needed to do. Bought this for his first birthday and he immediately started playing with it! Easy to put together and take apart for when something gets put in it that isn’t a ball!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2025We got this for our son when he was about 6months old. Like every other toy he’s received, there was a delay in the time we got it and the time he started playing with it —which is about 1 month.
But from 7 months old to now (16 months) this I has been his favorite toy. He learned very quickly how to press the button to get it started on his own. And Not a single day goes by that he doesn’t press that button.
From 9-11 months, he would play with it for close to an hour at a time—which in baby time, that’s years.
But, beware of the obnoxiousness that comes with this. Unfortunately there is no sound option, which means it is just constantly on Loud. Also, when you first put the batteries in, the vent is so strong, the balls would shoot out, and because he wasn’t as mobile back then, it would be my husband and I chasing the balls around the living room making him laugh and putting it back in the tube, only for him to start the process all over again—at least until he got more mobile. Why we didn’t take it away you ask? Because we made the decision to buy it for him and he absolutely loved it, so we lived with it.
I’ve learned as a parent to not buy obnoxious toys for friends who have kids unless they have expressed consent—why? Because I wouldn’t want anyone buying it for my kid. If this is for your child, I would highly recommend but know that you are making the decision with awareness—As I write this the music with the little “yeah!” Plays in my head on repeat…
If it’s for a friend or family member—don’t do it to them (unless you get consent). They will hold it against you for eternity.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2019For the record, I rue the day I purchased this ball popper for all of the reasons my little one loves it.
With the press of a the smiley faced lever thing, she is fascinated by extremely loud carnival sounding music and balls popping out of tube, into the tray (sometimes - or around the room other times) and another ball popping out - rinse and repeat. If you only have 3 of the balls going at once, most of the time, they will pop out of the toy into the tray. If you have more than that, then chances are they are going to be flying around the living room. The balls are a nice size, so no worries about little ones choking on them. The opening of the toy is big enough to fit legos and other things (they will not pop up - they are too heavy). It's also easy to extract the legos from the tube by turning the toy over and yes, my little one likes to put her big legos (and anything else that will fit) in this toy in hopes of seeing it pop up. Thank goodness, nothing else seems to work besides the light balls included.
My only real complain with this toy is it only has one volume - REALLY FREAKING LOUD (which is why it got 4 stars instead of 5). Many of the toys we've purchased have two volume options so you can put it on the lower volume when you are watching TV, trying to think, or just want some peace of mind. This one doesn't have that and it's so loud. Have I mentioned it's loud? We have a lot of noisy toys and only two of them bother me, this one and the Dora microphone.
With that said, my kid really enjoys this and it will keep her occupied for precious minutes at a time. If you can stand the noise - this is definitely a winner.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2016I was a little scared to buy this because it's so hard to find a good one of these now, but I'm very impressed! It was easy to assemble, and I was a little afraid it'd fall apart easily but it's very sturdy. I bought this for a 16 month old that I babysit, and she loved it right away. She was carrying it around by the top, pulling herself up on it, and knocking it over and it kept working fine. It's only been a few days so we'll see if that holds true!
Even if the child is too young to understand exactly what to do I'm sure they will still be entertained by this. I'd say as long as they can craw they will enjoy this toy. It only comes with 5 balls but that's perfect for younger kids who can barely keep track of them anyway! One thing that I didn't like at first was that you have to keep pressing something to make the air go, even though the switch is on, but it turns out she liked that a lot better because it's very easy to press and she felt in control!
The only downside to this toy is that the music is very loud. I was afraid the air would be louder but it can barely be heard over the music. The mom of the 16 month old said she was going to try to put tape over the speaker and see how that works, so I'll edit this once she lets me know.
But other than that I love it!

We love the busy ball popper! It’s one of the few toys that keeps my toddler entertained for longer periods of time. If you’re sensitive to loud sounds this may not be the best toy, as there is no option to change the volume level, or shut off the music. And the fan itself is a little loud.

Description says no batteries needed.
Product arrived and saw there is a need for x4 batteries.
Would have ordered the batteries along with the toy if i had known.
My boy was not able to play with it as we did not have the batteries.
There was also no way to check if the toy was functioning.

Love this and was happy to see that they still sold it as we had one 17 years ago for the first set of kids lol. My baby now loves it just as much as they did back then. From baby watching the balls to toddler chasing the balls, it's good for years
