New AI functionality for Model Driven Apps in the Power Platform!! If you are one of our clients or are a UK company who already have a system built on the Power Platform, we can help you maximise this new feature without any additional licensing. So what is it? Microsoft has released a new AI Prompt field type in Dataverse. It allows you to embed AI directly inside your model driven apps, generating insights, documents, or even structured outputs that can be fed into automations. This is a field which has a pre-defined prompt to carry out generative actions/content for you. How I used it for this demo (What you are seeing in the video) 👇 I built an AI Sales Assistant into our prospecting tool. When a new prospect is added it generates a full sales plan including who to contact, what to say and the best channel to use all based on the information provided in the record. It can also generate other outcomes. In my second example in the same video, it produced a structured list of similar companies to the record I am on for us to target. Because the response can be returned in JSON I can push those straight into Power Automate to create new prospect records automatically for me. This new feature isn't just limited to what I have shown above, you can request that it runs code for you, generate insights for you, you can assign or allocate records, you can generate Documents into a set template and plenty more. The result is AI powered workflows inside your CRM with no extra licensing and no external tools. Just the Power Platform working harder for you. Absolutely Bonkers Power Automate News!!!! There is a new action/step experience available in the V3 designer that is currently rolling out. Some really good quality of life updates that will make building flows even quicker than before! 🔥 Favourites! Finally the ability to favourite NOT ONLY your favourite connector but also your favourite triggers/actions in that connector! No longer do you have to search each time, just tag as favourite and they will always appear at the top of the list! #GameChanger 😅 🤖 AI Actions/Triggers at the top of the list. It's no surprise Microsoft want to surface AI connectors to the top with the direction they are going so this makes it even easier. 🧰 Built in tools right at the top. This was something I did miss from the old designer, as I constantly use conditions, switches, and my trusty compose action, having these at the top is so handy!! 🙏 🤏Connectors are smaller 😱 But this means we can see more in the side pane than before, so less scrolling. 🐉 Filters by type are back! I didn't have a good emoji for this so you get a dragon because dragons are cool 😎 🤸‍♂️ Side pane is wider...or maybe I need glasses, but it definitely looks like they are using more of the available space.
