That was the entire business plan when Jo-Ann Videtto opened Aandora Salon in 2001. No investors. No MBA. Just a cosmetology license she’d been putting to work since 1998, a conviction that the South Shore deserved a truly exceptional salon experience, and the kind of stubborn determination that would carry her through two relocations, a global pandemic, and everything in between.
What she never could have predicted was what Aandora would become — not just a place where Kingston families get their hair done, but the place where they share the news first. Engagements, pregnancies, promotions, first days of school. For more than 20 years, Aandora’s chairs have been where South Shore women (and more than a few husbands who were dragged in and never left) come to look their best and feel even better.
Today, Aandora Salon and Boutique operates from its home at 82 Main Street in Kingston, considered Route 3A — with a team of nine talented stylists and a dedicated boutique staff who share Jo-Ann’s original belief: that every client who walks through the door deserves to leave feeling like the best version of themselves.

We use ammonia-free color formulas and include Olaplex in our color services because your hair’s health matters as much as its color. We’ll never cut corners on what goes on your hair.
