Ritratto dell’artista, 25 di maggio 2021

I am Bernard Greenberg (aka BSG), programmer, organist, composer, subway aficionado erstwhile of New York, but since 1971 of Boston. This is my personal site, started May 2021, hosting all my musical scores and tutorials, visibly and playably, with my commentary. Neither download site, score bazaar, nor jukebox, this site is my personal concert and lecture venue.

To the scores My 10 favorites

I am now on YouTube. Please visit my channel, https://youtube.com/BernardGreenberg. There appear my selected best original compositions (including some live performances!!) and other interest. You may find YouTube more familiar to navigate and explore. If you are a member, you can comment there.

But here, as with the Vatican web site, there are no comments, feedback, logins, users, likes/dislikes, ratings, or fora. As he says, Si no le gusta, váyase a otro.If you don’t like it,
go somewhere else.

Click here New York Subway software   to visit my New York City Subway offerings.

Often, I would ride the subways with eyes fixed out the (no longer present) “railfan window” and Bach or Buxtehude in my head.

Click here Change log  for latest changes, including new scores and tutorials.

The measure-tracking web player is the work of Willem Vree, and the hosting framework and look are by Gertim Alberda and myself (first developed for his Bach Chorales site). All the other scripting and programming is by me. No “software packages” or “web kits” are present.

My GitHub presence, which includes documented working downloadables of my MuseScore (MS3, no 4) plugins and tools for massaging MIDI files for use with Hauptwerk and GrandOrgue, as well as the open source for my subway software, is https://github.com/BernardGreenberg.

7/30/2021 — I now have a YouTube channel. I intend to limit it to my own works (as there is no point in competing with the world’s greatest artists on repertoire): no corrections of student work and no text/score tutorials (although I hope to produce live video instructional material!). This site remains the source, and now YouTube is a channel that points here. Go visit!

8/05/2021 — It is now possible to email me. Please visit this page.
